Today,on 5th June,ICC 20-20 World Cup is starting at London, England. Last T20 World cup was won by Team India in 2007 where India beat their rival Pakistan in a thrilling match at Johannesburg by 5 runs.
Most of the TV channels will broadcast the live matches of T20.So everyone can enjoy.

Global warming is one of the most serious challenges facing us today.There has been a increase in the average temperature of earth in the past century. The temperature of the globe had been increased more than 1 degree Fahrenheit since 1900 and its speed is increasing.


Here,in India,its summer season and the temperature of most of the places is around 40-44 degree Celsius,much more than previous years.This time the temperature is breaking all its previous records and creating new once.The condition in desert area like in Rajasthan is even more worse.There the temperature is around 45-48 degree Celsius.

Maruti Suzuki Ritz

India's number one carmaker Maruti Suzuki India Limited unveiled the much-awaited Ritz.Ritz will be the first passenger car in India to be compliant with the BS-IV emission norms, in petrol as well as diesel variants. The Ritz has been designed for India. Maruti Suzuki engineers worked with the Suzuki design team in Japan to design the car.

Is Sun Microsystems is merging with Oracle??

Oracle is planning to buy Sun Microsystems .For this Oracle is giving $7.4 billion.With this it come to no.2 ,after IBM,in high end server makers. This deal came when the deal between IBM and Sun failed.
During the past few years Oracle took many other companies such as BEA Systems ,i-flex,etc.

Navratras.....Hindu's New Year

This celebration in honor of the goddess,the mother of the world, begins on the first day of Ashvin,and continues for nine days. She is known by many names: Kali, Laxmi, Sarasvati ,Chandi-ka, Durga, Bhavani, Ambika, Ashtabhuja.Her main task is to punish the wicked.She is sitting on a lion. Her weapons are the shul(pike),chakra(wheel),parshu(axe) and talvar(sword). Kali is known as Mahisha-surmardini,the slayer of the demon Mahishasur.The fight against the demon begins on the first day until he is defeated on the ninth day.

Navratras are celebrations of Maa Durga.Navratras are observed twice a year. The first set of Navratras are celebrated in March & April and the second in September & October.

India on Moon

Chandrayaan is India's first mission to the moon by Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).The spacecraft was launched from Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota by PSLV on 22 October 2008.It was successfully entered in the moon orbit.The Indian mission is to prepare a three-dimensional atlas of the moon and prospect the lunar surface for natural resources.

Nano....from Singur to Sanand

The Nano project is finally shifted to Sanand,in Gujarat.Initially the plant was setup in Singur,but the decision to transfer the plant was taken after the protest.The protest was for the land on which the plant was made.Now the new home for Nano is Sanand.The people there are happy,they think this will bring development in their area and help the people there.
